IIMO participates in the
TCGA PanCancer Program, an international project, managed by National Cancer Institute at National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The IIMO has recently joined The Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) is a comprehensive and coordinated effort
to accelerate the understanding of the molecular basis of cancer through the application of robust, quantitative, proteomic technologies and workflows.
CPTAC is a multicenter and interdisciplinary project coordinated by National Cancer Institute at NIH.
The IIMO has been awarded 4-years contract from NIH funded by federal funds from government of the United States.
IIMO is registered at POL-on system as the International Scientific Institute. IIMO is also registered at NIH eRA Commons
grant management system and SAM.gov as research organisation fully eligible to receive funding from the government of the USA.
IIMO is registered at the PLUS-IP platform
(US State Dept)
and actively participates in further development of this initiative.
In March 2016 the Institute is hosting Dr Jo Anne Zujewski, director of Breast Cancer Therapeutics,
in the Clinical Investigation Branch of the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP) of the National Cancer Institute.
Dr Zujewski is the scientific liaison and disease expert for breast cancer clinical trials sponsored by the CTEP program of the NCI at NIH.
Dr Zujewski has obtained the fellowship from US Department of State as visiting professor at IIMO.
